Time flies...

Well.. time flies.. and another year has passed.
It's funny to notice that we are the whole year preoccupied with our daily lives and are always too busy to do certain things. In fact we may always have time. We actually make time for the things which are more important to us.

I am not sure about you, but sometimes I feel I am missing out on things.. I feel like, it's not that I don't have time for them, it's because I just didn't think it was important; I was just "too busy"doing something else. But, was that something else that irrelevant? Hmmmmm maybe not? Maybe yes? How can we know?...

Perhaps, it's necessary to press the "Pause" button once a while and reevaluate our life for just a few minutes a day.. They say, "Stop to smell a rose", but it's true. Thinking only about tomorrow or standing still in the past, may get us nowhere. Sometimes living that moment to the fullest may be exactly what you need for that particular day.

Sometimes I like to detach and pay attention to things around. This week, I was observing people in the train and suddenly I saw these teenagers together. A boy and a girl, sitting next to each other, laughing and enjoying themselves. It was so funny to watch them. They looked so innocent, pure, full of hopes and dreams and they seemed to feel so comfortable around each other, like they belonged together. That was a nice thing to see..

Time flies... "Stop to smell a rose".. If life is going by too quickly, sometimes is nice to just take a moment and pay attention to what really matters, usually the simplest things are the ones who really add so much value.. what is today that is so important... Hmmmm....

Frank 010

Another Frank 010 experience... The music was much more lounge than dancing...
What I couldn't resist once again it was the delicious Absolute passion drink they serve there. Wow, it's absolutely delicious! :D
So, basically it's a mix of passion fruit, passoa, vodka and some other secret ingredient which I didn't hear when the bartender said (the music was loud)... But it was worth it!

For those who aren't familiar to this event, it's a kind of happy hour, a "borrel" (in Dutch), or  "The Frank borrel" which takes place on every last Friday of the month at the Cruise Terminal in Rotterdam from 17:00 to 23:00. Just a tip: arrive as early as possible to avoid a very long queue outside... It's very popular. And if you are living in Rotterdam long enough, you will see many familiar faces there.. (Once a saw a famous Dutch presenter there, don't ask me his name.. I don't know, hehehe!)

Cineminha básico

Ahh que maravilha é chegar na Pátria amada de novo... Quando cheguei imediatamente senti mesmo aquela delícia de temperatura típica de um país tropical... O sol que queima de verdade na pele da gente... Os carros todos com vidros fumê... E aquele tanto de brasileiros andando pra todos os lados... Onde olho vejo brasileiros... ahahhaha!

Ontem fomos ao cinema ver Missão Impossível. Chegando lá, aquele engarrafamento no shopping, porque agora todos estão de férias, os shoppings estão lotados! Começamos a rir do guarda do estacionamento falando pra gente ir estacionar no 2 piso pois aquele já estava "lotado, lotadíssimo, tá formigando de cheio" hahahahahahha!!! Adorei o termo "Formigar de cheio", "cheio que está formigando"... quem está aprendendo português agora, pode tentar entender a o termo "formigar".. hahahah!!

Mas é isso, vimos o "Missão Impossível, Protocolo fantasma" Que filme legal!! Gostei muito de assistir o filme com a minha família, que privilégio maravilhoso! Fomos ao todo 10 pessoas! Foi muito legal e agora estamos querendo ver quando podemos ir assistir aos Imortais. Vai ser 10 também!

Olha.. Mal posso esperar!! Estou amando o meu Brasil... Brasil Brasileiro...

Yorkshire x Enfermeira (Brazilian nurse kills her dog)

There is a case going around facebook about a brazilian nurse who killed her dog by spanking it to death. There are now several communities in facebook which are against this person for what she has done to her pet.

I haven't watched the whole video, and I have absolutely no plans to do so. I am terribly touched by just the first image of seeing her begining to hit her dog in the first seconds and couldn't go any further. I honestly can't understand how can someone spank a dog like that. How can someone go on with this madness until the dog is no longer living... How can you proceed to do this? How can this be? How? How is this possible?

Yes, there are obviously many other atrocities happening around the world right now. Of course. I have no doubts most of people would agree that there are many other wars, rapes, child abuse, and whatever evil acts happening between 4 walls which nobody would ever know... But still.. This was a dog... Yes, a living being, which also deserves to be respected and protected... Why not talk about that as well...? Why doesn't it deserve to be protected and loved? Nobody was there to hold it and save it from this monster which was its owner, the one who should have protected it, was the one doing the evil.... How can this be? It had nobody to come and save it from the pain and from death...

I am very shocked with that... And it makes me think of the so many unfair, coward evil actions happening on this planet.. What is wrong with people? How can someone sleep at night after killing an innocent creature? How can this be? What happened to people? Why? These acts of violence shouldn't be tolerated! The responsible ones should be held accountable for their acts! This is not fair!

O caso do yorkshire x enfermeira

Através do Facebook todos estão sendo informados do caso do cachorro que foi espancado até a morte, recentemente pela dona, uma enfermeira que reside em Formosa, GO- Brasil.

Um vídeo foi feito quando esta pessoa espanca seu animal de estimação até a morte. Eu particularmente não tive coragem de ver e assistir ao vídeo, pois realmente deve ser muito forte e marcante.

Todos nós estamos indignados com esse ocorrido. Como pode alguém ir espancando, batendo, jogando um animal pequeno, indefeso no chão, até que este não tenha mais vida... Como pode isso??! Eu não consigo entender o que está passando na mente de uma pessoa dessas... Frustração com a vida? Estava tendo "um mal dia"? Qual é a desculpa pra esse tipo de ação... O que me assusta mais é pensar que deve estar ocorrendo muito mais dessas barbaridades por aí que ninguém conseguiu filmar.. E ninguém nunca saberá...

É claro que tem muitas outras atrocidades e injustiças ocorrendo mundo afora, quantas crianças sendo mortas, mulheres violentadas, guerras e massacres ocorrendo que claro que à vista deste incidente pode não ser comparado. Por isso, algumas pessoas podem dizer que só foi um cachorro.. Mas a conciência de que mesmo sendo um animal, ele também merece ser defendido. Acredito que a justiça deve ser feita em casos "pequenos" ou "grandes", seja qual for o tipo de violência, essa deve ser intolerada. Sinceramente não gosto quando pessoas começam a diminuir o valor dos animais frente à outras atrocidades. O fato ocorreu, alguém sem coração matou um cachorro indefeso, e esse fato deveria ser punido sim, porque não? Não é só porque é um cachorro que não merece ser defendido.  Achei a iniciativa válida sim, essa indignação é muito válida e a tentativa de punir a brutalidade contra os animais. Toda e qualquer tipo de violência deve ser punida!

Neblina na Holanda

Olhando pra fora da janela aqui no escritorio, so estou me lembrando da cena do filme " The Others" com a Nicole Kidman... Sinistro!! Eu vou tentar colocar uma foto aqui...
Estavamos com entradas para um jogo do Esparta hoje aqui em Rotterdam, e na verdade, o meu gerente mandou o e-mail pra todos, dizendo que sera possivelmente cancelado devido a neblina... Vai entender.. Qual e a dificuldade desse pessoal em ver uma bola? So por causa da neblininha? heheheh....
